The single most common request: "Can my partner see what we have at home?" Yes. We are adding opt-in iCloud sync (Apple-native, still no Stoq server) and household sharing for up to 5 people. One pantry, one shopping list, one source of truth for the whole family.

An AI scan is when Stoq sends a photo to Anthropic's Claude AI to identify multiple items at once. Two scenarios use it: scanning a paper receipt (gets every line item), and scanning a fridge or pantry shelf (gets every visible product). Scanning a single product label uses Apple Vision OCR on-device, which is always free and unlimited.
The 100 AI scans reset on the 1st of every month. Until then, all other features keep working without any limits. You can also fall back to barcode scanning and label OCR, which never count against your AI quota.
In a local SQLite database on your phone. There is no Stoq account, no Stoq server. Only AI scans send the photo to Anthropic for processing, and Anthropic doesn't store it. Barcode lookups go to Open Food Facts (a non-profit), with no personal data attached.
Yes. Subscriptions follow standard Apple App Store policy: managed through your Apple ID under iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Stoq. Cancel anytime and you keep PRO access until the end of the current billing period. No emails, no retention dark patterns.
